Photo 101

This week the World Travelers went on their first summer adventure. They learned all about digital photography with Kim Belanger, the fellowship's resident professional photographer. The travelers were super excited to learn why we take photos and how we take photos, but even more excited to take photos! They started with portrait pictures and when the weather cleared up, got to go outside for some landscape pics. I can't wait to see their professional shots.

In the nursery, the toddlers played music, danced, drew, and read stories all centering around the theme of everyone being friends. And there was plenty of free play - the toddlers wouldn't have it any other way!

After the classes, the kids hung out for almost an hour today. It was really fun to see them eating snack and playing together - our little UU family!

Next week, the kids will go Down Memory Lane with Charley and June Kempthorne. They'll learn all about recording their memories - an important skill given all of the adventures they're going to have this summer!
